Ani Jayakaran (he/him) is a Professor with Washington State University Extension. He works on disseminating strategies to manage water resources using Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) and improving current engineering designs using ecological engineering principles. Ani holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and a doctoral degree in Agricultural & Biological Engineering and is a registered engineer in Washington and South Carolina. He grew up in India and Africa, loves to spend time with family and pets, to play and listen to music, and to travel.
